Township Board Regular Meeting schedule for fiscal year 2024-25
The Leelanau Township Board regular meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Leelanau Township Hall at 119 E. Nagonaba St., P.O. Box 338, in Northport, Michigan, unless noted below. Special meetings, additional meetings and cancellations will be properly noticed.
Until further notice, Township Meetings will be conducted via a combination of in-person and Electronic Remote Access in accordance with Michigan MDHSS Orders on gatherings and in compliance with the Michigan Open Meetings Act. As a convenience to the public, all Township Board meetings will be broadcast via Zoom remote meeting format. Zoom links will be posted for each meeting on this website and in the township’s electronic calendar. Please note that on rare occasions, the Zoom technology may malfunction. The public is welcome to attend at the Town Hall. Audio portions of meetings are available upon request.
Leelanau Township will provide the necessary and/or reasonable auxiliary aids and services for the hearing impaired and other persons with disabilities. Requests for auxiliary aids or services should be made to the Township Office at least seven days prior to the meeting.

AGREEMENT FOR ELECTION SERVICES BETWEEN LEELANAU COUNTY AND BINGHAM TOWNSHIP, CENTERVILLE TOWNSHIP, CLEVELAND TOWNSHIP, CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF ELMWOOD, EMPIRE TOWNSHIP, GLEN ARBOR TOWNSHIP, KASSON TOWNSHIP, LEELANAU TOWNSHIP, LELAND TOWNSHIP, SOLON TOWNSHIP, AND SUTTONS BAY TOWNSHIP.
PURPOSE OF THE AGREEMENT. The County and the municipalities enter into this Agreement pursuant to Article
II, Section 4(m) of the Michigan Constitution of 1963 and the Michigan Election Law, 1954 Public Act 116, MCL
168.720a et seq., for the purpose of operating joint early voting sites during the required nine days of early
voting for Federal and Statewide elections
